Do people with CP III & CP IV are rejected in medicals of CDS’ SSB? Do partial color blind candidates have a chance of selection in INDIAN ARMY?

  • the thing is there is a wide gap of difference between being color blind and partial color vision deficiency, that’s what its called deficiency, not blindness
  • cp3 mean you have that deficiency and cp4 means you are color blind, cp4 is not acceptable by any standards
  • cp3 is acceptable for army if you are pursuing NDA, CDS just changed the requirements to cp2
  • every year before registration starts for written exam, UPSC rolls out a newsletter showing all medical and physical requirements for each of the respective forces
  • as of 2016 for army its cp3
  • and for CDS its cp2
  • and btw don’t ask anyone else about this they will act like the know all they are and bluntly reply that color blindness is not acceptable
  • i would say go for it let the medical doctors decide, don’t let these know all decide your future
